I don't post a lot but can't be silent on this any longer. I hope we have some MAJOR changes on our line next season. I've never seen a group so inconsistent. The only position that maybe shouldn't be an open competition is Harrison at center. This probably won't be popular but it's hard to watch.
There need to be serious open competitions at basically every position outside of say Fullback with Joyer.
We will have big changes on the line next season, and it can't come soon enough.
A QB who could throw hot would help a lot too. I think it's time our fanbase stops placing blame everywhere but the QB position. It's time for Driskel to sit at the table and eat some shit.
If Halapio is starting again, it will be a bad sign.
I agree. Just commented on another post on his lack of consistency and progression. Should be open competition IMO.
Agree on Halapio, he has sucked ass all year and last year. Humphries, Dunker, Harrison, Garcia, and Moore is my first guess at the OLine next year with T Brown backing up both OT spots.
Couldn't agree more; he stares down receivers or 1 side or the field.
As stated above a quarterback with at least average pocket awareness would make our offensive line look ten times better. Driskel hasn't seemed to catch up to the speed of the game like most quarterbacks do as the season progresses and honestly I think the quarterback battle should be interesting again next spring
