Looking to broaden my horizons with beer! What's your favorite unique beer? When I say unique I mean not Bud, Coor's. Looking for beers like Magic Hat, Kentucky Bourbon Beer.

Chihuahua from Mexico
Mac N'Jack from Seattle. Delicious!
Sounds like a question for Aussie. But I I will out in my vote for anything from the Ommegang Brewery. In Cooperstown, NY. Start with the Hennepin
"You're not a good guy, you go somewhere else. We'll play you. We'll beat you."
I don't really have a favorite. Just a ton of beers that I like.
Depends on where you live as to whether or not you can get some of these. I will just post this list and if you can get your hands on any of them the you are in for a treat.
Davids vs. Goliaths. The current beer buzzes duke it out on BeerAdvocate.
Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale (or anything by Smuttynose, really)
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Winterbraun by Lost Coast Brewery
Fat Tire (USA), Asahi Super Dry (Japan), OB Super Dry or Hite Stout (S. Korea), Antarktic (China) & Chimey Blue Top when in Belgium!
Rogue hazelnut brown ale
Left Hand marzen
Mama's Lil yella pils
Those are probably my favorites, but I could list dozens of good ones. It all depends on what you are in the mood for.

+1 on Mac and Jaks loved it when I lived in Seattle but you can only get there. Any Dogfish Head are great, Palo Santo being my fav
Blanche de Bruxelles, a true Belgian White.
We are talking about beer, not the watery beer like substance used for flip cup and pong.
Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale
Prefer their India Brown Ale. Damn good.
Dupont Avec les Bons Voeux
The best Saison type beer I've ever had
Ah, another Belgian fan, like myself.
I work for a beer distributer and id have to say in the craft section the ones that move the most are dogfish, terrapin, rouge, and bells, also abita sells well the strawberry we have seaonally we cant keep enough of it.
If you like IPA's their 90 minute is the best I have ever had
For the Belgian fans, I've always liked Le Chouffe and Delirium quite a bit.
I've had quite a few beers listed in this thread and most if them I really liked. That said, most people can't jump from Coors Light to, well, almost any of these beers.
I think you may be better served by drinking some entry level craft beers and see how your taste buds develop. Many people try Blue Moon and kind of go from there. In Atlanta, we have a place called Taco Mac and they typically have a few hundred beers available and they're listed by type. Find a type you like and go from there.
Ever been to a World of Beer? I have been to 1 in Savannah and Arlington and they are awesome...similar to a Yardhouse but better IMO
Pretty much anything from Dogfish Head is good.
Their Burton Baton is one of my favorites.
Not yet. But I'll make it a point to keep an eye out for one.
Agree...and I am lucky one of the Grocery chains in San Antonio where we just moved has a large selection of Dogfish at all times....and varies what they carry....
