Billy Donovan offered 6-6 forward Jordon Barnett from St. Louis this morning. Great athlete who can really shoot it. Will be top 50 by the end of the summer

Class of 2014 unless he's reclassing.

Thomas can you change that I am a total idiot
We had some luck with bball players from St. Louis
Heard Barnett AAU coach was kinda of hard to deal with but Billy has had good luck in Saint Louis
Thanks for the info Ferd.
Does he hold any other offers presently?
missouri, butler, michigan state and unc is coming to watch him next week. Would be a good piece for the gators
Ferd, what do you think our chances are with the likes of:
I put their home states next to their names.
apparently Chaminade got another superstar in pipeline:
Eric Bossi @ebosshoops
Jayson Tatum looks an awful lot like potential five-star prospect. Chaminade certainly has their next in line after David Lee and Brad Beal
2016 is some time away , but I hope the staff will be all over that kid.
kid is the next great one from Chaminade and yes we are already on him
we will get Allen out of this group, do not see anyone else on that list
what bigs do you see us going after in '14 Bullis
think Ferd had mentioned in past...BD looking at a handful of transfers to round out recruiting for 2014 etc as depth / upper class leadership will lacking IF DFS, Walker, K Hill, D Harris even go pro after 2013
think BD will be able to sell a great track record with Macklin, now Rosario and more so DFS next yr as a spot for elite HS kids that need a change of scenery
I think it is very important that we get at least one big from the 2014 class just for balance reasons
Don't forget the original transfer x factor, Jason Williams
Ohhh let's doooo it
ooorrrannngeeee and bluuueee it
Bullis, just for fun, where do you see those guys going I put on that short list! Best guess please!
Thanks! Go Gators!
Damontre Harris esp post injury looks like a 2yr kid ie will be on roster in 2013 and 2014 at the 5...couldnt ask for a better looking rim rocker / shot blocker as a Rs Sr
hopefully Braxton sticks around and doesnt transfer...so even if K Hill 1 and done...have him as a Jr or Rs Soph (depends on knee issue / may be able to Rs this yr? dunno extent of issue etc - just a wild guess)
MF II looking like a very very solid SG (shooting 40% from 3) and built very well for a college SG + DGraham as a back up
Dev Walker will be a Jr -- kid looks like he will warrant minutes / can play esp as a Jr in the rotation @ SF -- legit 6 6" long arm kid with hops
another PF / 4/5 type is crucial IMO....may be able to sign an elite elite 2014 kid given tons of min likely avail....basing this on Cody Larson being permanently off the team (high high prob at this point) AND the thought that Chris SkyWalker is a 1 and done....think C Dubs goes pro given his elite elite measurables and his desire to go pro even if a late 1st rder (think will be based on measurables alone)
so net net if cant sign J Randle in 2013 ....would like to see BD take a polished big /transfer this yr also and have the guy ready to complement D Harris in 2014 to fill out roster or a W Yeguette type of diamond in rough kid who has a 6 8"+ frame and can Rs / develop kid in 2013 and stick him in rotation in 2014 along w/ a few frosh bigs and DH
Ogbueze isn't redshirting this year.
I think he was saying possibly next season, but I doubt that
i'm not sure C-Walk is a one and done...he needs alot of work on his offense game....i know it was just one game...but i watched him in the kingdom of the sun tournament against Vanguard High...who didn't have a kat over 6'2 6'3...and he didn't even come close to dominating...he had one move...which was a spin move (decent move)...that was it...other then that he is just a big bulky guy....i see him as a 2-3 year kid who needs alot of development......i could be way off though...who knows...
was thinking BO maybe could redshirt given this -- "(depends on knee issue / may be able to Rs this yr? dunno extent of issue etc - just a wild guess)"
as for C walker...bulky?? the kid is a rim rocker,,, yes his offensive game is not refined but kid has a ridiculous ceiling and should be in first round convo just on athleticism alone...kid can do some freaky things at a legit 6 10" height + excellent wingspan
