# 4 FL 74 (91%) - # 34 KY 60 (9%), FL by +.135.
I'd take any kind of win here in the O tomorrow night! We just need to get healthy & win in any fashion we can until ours boys are all 100%. This is about the same time in the year last season Will Y went down & we lost 4-5 games in the final stretch run.
I'll even take an ugly win anytime now, don't care how it looks!!
I will gladly take a 14 point win! I think it will be much closer than that though!
Fla should have a chip on their shoulders for this game. Last time we played KY last year we lost by 3 pts on a neutral court without Will.
Personally, I'm looking for a ''Bully Beatdown''! This is a statement game IMO.
I know UK is dangerous . My blood pressure will be back to normal after this game is over
LOL! Brooklyn, we're both nervous every game!! Stakes get higher starting tomorrow! Gotta have faith in Billy & the boys!!

I don't know exactly how the Massey ratings work, but I'd imagine they don't take into account injuries. If not, not sure a projection is worth very much. Past data means very little with Yeguete now out.

Our guards have to make their ball handlers extremely uncomfortable with pressure defense. Young and Murphy have to stay out of foul trouble. We need to knock down a good percentage of 3's. Do all that, and we blow them out.
as long as scottie/kenny can shut down goodwin and harrow i dont see uk having much of a chance... nerlens has no offensive game, the only guy that worries me going into this game is poythress and wiltjer is just a poor mans erik murphy IMO

Casey should be able to handle Poythress, similar in ht. & strength. Hope Murph doesn't trip on the cracks in the floor tomorrow nite like last game! Kenny & Scottie should man the grds. Hope our shooters come to play & the Rowdies rattle the young Cats!
I wouldn't count on a bunch of layups with Nerlens in the paint. Best shot blocker by far in the league & maybe the entire country.
I don't think they consider who's on the floor. Vegas picks/lines are better gauge of the games. Massey is pretty good though, I just wouldn't bet & take the pts on this one. Who knows, maybe Fla skins em. Pretty much the same Fla team as last season & KY not nearly as good. Nerlens not on the same plane as Anthony. Nor do they have the grd play they had last season!
If we can keep our bigs out of foul trouble I think we will win comfortably.
I think we want to beat them badly...and at home we do extremely well. Im more worried about at Tennessee, at mizzou, and at Kentucky than any home game right now. I'm comfortable with us playing anyone in the nation in our house.
Not much different from KenPom. He says 75-59. Defense will have to refocus though to hit that number. I hope they can.

Yep, I agree you better be nervous for every game. The guys on every team are on scholarship and want to win too.
My view is:
Guards: Boynton, Rosario and Frazier match up well Goodwin, Harrow, Mays and Polson. Rosario will need to stay focused, but I like UF's matchups at these position.
Wing: Wilbekin and Prather match up well Poythress. I guess Murphy may start out on Poythress, but there will be times in the game when a guard will be on the bench and Poythress will be at the 3. I suspect in those cases, he will have a good dose of Wilbekin. If so UK may well try to post and over power Wilbekin.
Posts: Murphy and Young match up well with Noel, Wiltjer and Cauley-Stein. Young's history of playing well against NBA prospects encourages me here and I think Murphy is just better than Wiltjer. Clearly UK has more depth here. If Prather is in and has to match up with Wiltjer, Prather will need to crowd him so he can not set his feet.
I can't see us losing all 3 away games. Not this team.
Well it's settled then, we will cover
The Great TWGator has spoken! No more need for discussion!!
Look forward to a cat beat down.
I meant I'm more worried at those than this game coming up. We probably lose one...we, like most teams, aren't as good on the road. It's how it is in college sports.
Is section G1 on the side of the Kentucky bench and are those good seats?
Your inside - it's a sellout -so yes they are good seats! Actually, yes that's a good place to sit!
Finally someone on this board that recognizes greatness!
Was there a doubt??
MGM & Caesars have the spread set at +10.5 &+10 in favor of Fla. Massey still at +13.5.
Vegas Over/Under at 133.5-134 pts. indicating a 70ish-60ish final score.
Hope the boys are right tonight. They missed the mark by a mile last week!!
