Agree kb. Both JR & PY on the roster next year with the addition of the two transfers & two incoming stud freshman would give the Gators a ''dream team'' like roster. Very seldom will you see a team with that much talent or depth, not even at KY. Has the potential to be the best in Fla history - & I'm not knocking the 06-07 guys as they are presently heads & tails the best that have worn the sneakers at UF.
Hope the good Lord smiles on the Gators one more time this spring!!
Any more news on this BIG GATOR visit?
It's later today I believe according to the ''VIP'' I spoke to the other night at his game. They were very excited & looking forward to his visit.

So we are going in home with Joel Berry?
Yeah, that team would be one for the ages. And on top of that, they would have a coach with the ability to do something with all the talent around him. Any more than 2 losses with that roster would be a dissapointment in my eyes... And I know any thing can happen in college b-ball but you just don't see the stars align like that in any sport very often. Has me very excited. But I'm not lookin past this years team. I believe they have the ability to cut the nets down this year. Go Gators!
Not sure if in the home or meet at practice @ LHP later today or early evening. But a visit for sure will take place.
Sf: Prather,Randle,Finney Smith
I'm not sure I'd list Randle or DFS at SF!! Will Y most likely gets listed at SF at 6'7'' along with Prather at 6'6''. Let's not forget Devon Walker at 6'6'' & still growing & adding weight. He's coming along nicely FWIW. Randle is 6'9'' & DFS is 6'8'', so not exactly small. DFS is a killer on the wing from all the reports I'm hearing. May be the best weapon on the roster next season. Also may be in the lottery mix if he plays like I'm hearing he plays. But a bunch of studs will be in the stable for sure!
If he is a killer on the wing why would he play the 4 and not the 3? I get you can have a stretch 4 but if he is at the 4 and WY is at the 3 and WY cant shoot from deep so why not put the shooter on the wing and the non shooter in the paint? I dont really base positions based off of height, look at Durant what is he like 6'10 and plays the 3 so Randle being 6'9 and athletic i think he could play the 3,not comparing him to Durant just using a example for the height at the 3 spot
Certainly among Finney-Smith, Prather, Randle and C. Walker there is good flexibility at the 3/4 and backup at for the 5 in the case that Young does not return. And even if Randle does not come, UF would be fine.

What about Wilbekin's little brother? Is he in the mix at all?
On another site, someone reported that it would be at the school.
LOL! My boys guessing TX!! Lanier & Norm have good connections in Fla. as you'd expect. Berry most likely heads the pt. grd. pecking order since he's 2014, Hill in 2013 & Braxton 2012. Need a SG or two in 2014 class and always a good big or two. Lot of good pts to choose from in Fla the next 2-3 yrs.
Could be. It's up to the recruit & his parents to decide where to meet. Probably in Coach Turners ofc. They have pretty nice digs at LHP. High end school, campus & facilities - reminds me of Bolles in Jax minus the dorms.
I just went on size alone. DFS could play at the 4 in order to create a serious mismatch against a big slow bulky 4 defender. His quickness alone, plus his deadly crossover & ball handling ability would be a huge advantage over a traditional PF. He's versatile enough to play the wing as well (2 & 3 positions). Randle can play 3,4 or 5 as can C. Walker. Will Y is really a SF, but is best at the PF since he bulked up & is not noted for his shooting skills as you say. So we can leave him at PF! But all these guys are interchangable in terms of positions they can play. But I will say this & write it down - you'll most likely see the most relentless full court press you've ever seen at Fla when these long, tall, sleek athletes step on the floor next season. Man are they fast & can run & jump like deer.
But I like this team this year first & most importantly & will look ahead to next season after Jules picks his school this spring!

guessing Texas for what FlaJeff?
Heard he likes TX. Still lots of time & schools to choose from though. He's a good pt grd for sure.
In news related to both issues of this thread, UTx took a commitment from a 2013 PG over the weekend. He is the first member of their 2013 class.
