Saw that earlier this week and was shocked to see FSU fans excited about something ever D1 QB can do,?weird
Driskel could throw it over them mountains
Just talked to Uncle Ricco he said BFD
The more i see videos of Noles fan, the more i realize how big a of a douche fan base they have
***Work hard everyday, so that when you face someone who hasn't worked hard, you can beat his brains out!***
"You're not a good guy, you go somewhere else. We'll play you. We'll beat you."
No one would ever brag about Driskel throwing the ball. Running--yes, throwing--couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.
Driskel yr 1: 64%
EJ yr 1: 65% was actually 2 years ago. his first 2 years he only played in 7 games.
EJ as a Senior: 68% In the ACC i might add, are there any decent secondaries in that league?
Driskel as SO: 64%
So yes he can run, and it appears he can hit as much water as EJ as 1st year starter compared to a Sr. Maybe 1 less time a game. Just Imagine what the next 2 years will bring with good coaching? Something EJ or FSU has never had.

Well played gatornate10.
I'm not in the boat that thinks Driskel can't become a very good QB for us. I say give him some WRs that can get open consistently and more time with Pease to learn how to read defenses. IMO, he'll be more that adequate for us the next two years. May never be a superstar but you don't need a superstar QB in Muschamp's program to win big.
UF...ASSOC OF AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES MEMBER...3-TIME FOOTBALL NATL CHAMPION..2-TIME BASKETBALL NATL CHAMPION..31 ATHLETIC NATL CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Ej was also asked to do more than driskel in the passing game so those numbers are a little misleading....
He also played I'n thee ACC where defenses are misleading. Everyone thinks there bad but they are actually awefull. See FSUs glorious paper tiger of a defense. Lol
EJ also had the benefit of playing in a wide open offense. Jeff rarely had the advantages that comes with that, like throwing on first down, second or third and short, etc.
The upgrades in the O Line will do him a world of good.
I get what you are saying with the EJ comparison, but if Driskel turns out only a little better than EJ, then we are in big trouble.
Now that would be very true. I believe with Jeff the fixes are easy compared to alot of young QBs. His corrections are things that often come natural with reps. Not as much mechanical work as it is just time in the pocket. Sarting a few weeks ago till the season he will see so much of this it will become 2nd nature. Reps are all his with a 3yr guy behind him who knows it just needs to stay sharp, won't be pushing for a starting job. Huge plus right there.
Rush Pike Spring '13
James Wilder is a Pike btw
Exactly, our biggest problem wasn't Jeff or the WR's... it's that our OL gave up more sacks for more yards than any other team in the SEC last season.
Kid can't throw it if he turns around to DL in his face even on 3-step drops.
A lot of fball players are pikes
They don't have to go through the pledge process like the rest of people rushing
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
when you hold the ball too long you get sacked.
Bingo. A good half of the sacks this year were on Driskel, not the offensive line. That's the worst part of his game, and that's saying something because he's got a lot to work on.
