Next TexasGator is going to try and convince us that Mack Brown is a good coach.
It's not like you mad amazing points.
1) No one expected Young to be one-and-done, and if they did, it was purely based on potential. He was as raw as it gets, and most people in the knew expected him to be here for 3 years.
2) What system doesn't need good PG play? It doesn't excuse how awful they've been this year given the amount of talent they have. Do they even have a good win this season? FSU? The ACC is pretty average this year, and they are struggling.
3) You didn't even made an intelligible point about Stevens. You just said he was a great coach. How does that relate to anything about Roy?
Nice post jhova.
Also, I watched the first half last night and watched a coach give up on his team within ten minutes of game time. He has 5 TOs a half and let a 5 point lead turn to 10, then 15, then a 20 point lead with still all of his TOs still available. I'm guessing the worm didn't know what to do.
I don't hate NC, I just hate Roy Williams. For a Gator to defend that pu$$y after what he did to BD and UF sickens me.

Since I live near Chapel Hill one would think I might know a little something about UNC basketball. As far as Dean Smith goes he won two national championships by the hair on his ass. Jordans game winner and Webbers time out. So yeah, I know my CBB history. Bringing Dean Smith into the debate proves nothing as far as Roy Williams is concerned. I have no clue why you jump on here defending Roy F'ng Williams. Have you noticed that you are the only one on this post doing so? Maybe that should tell you something. Instead of questioning everyone elses credibility why not try establishing your own? I will end my argument by stating that Roy Williams is not a bad coach. Bad coaches don't have that amount of success. He is however not a great coach and extremely overrated. A lot of Heel fans have started to realize this after two years of a roster with Barnes, Henson, Zeller, Marshall (ALL 1st RD picks) which he not only didnt win the ACC tournament but failed to reach the final 4. Especially after being the preseason #1 last year.
I cannot make a cogent comment about Roy Williams as a coach , but I can tell you from personal contact over the last six years he is a JERK !
I have a close friend who's grandfather was on one of Dean Smiths very early teams. He was an all conference player then but not a star by any means. But anytime they hold special events with former players he goes back. He is also a big time donor now. He's had a ton of interaction with ole Roy and can't find a good thing to say about him. Loves UNC but thinks Roy is as slimy as they come. He said most of the alumni that have met him feel the same way.
As I said earlier, the most pompous ass in all of college sports.
Since u live there which I doubt now you would known the reason they lost was not due to Roy but was due to the Blue Jays dirty play against Kendall Marshall which lead to his broken wrist and running the 4th string PG they made it that far...
excuses, excuses, excuses. Doesn't mean they would've won either way
