Could see LSU beating Bama at home next weekend. We MUST beat UGA first and then we are the SEC East Champions!!!!!!!!!!
stick to basketball son
Or a Gators fan who understands that beating your biggest rival is always a big deal.
I'm concerned about our #1 team goal. That's to win the SEC east and #2 goal is to win the SEC. #3 would be a MNC. FSU is irrelevant to our #1 goal. you are trying to jump goal #1 and #2 for goal #3. Slow down tiger,....
I'm glad you hate FSU, we all do, but don't lose sight of your goals.
Of course we all want to destroy FSU, every year.
Calm down junior. Do you have your hotel reservations to New Orleans? No? Well, all due respect, stfu.
^ This. Live in Atlanta and see what this means.
I'm concerned that people think beating FSU and winning the SEC are mutually exclusive. As I mentioned earlier, if this is a championship caliber team, they should be able to do both. Go Gators.
FSU has absolutely zero to do with winning the SEC. Therefore, by definition they are mutually exclusive of each other.
it's all about goals , in basketball the MNC may be the goal starting the year out. Not in football. The SEC east is the only goal that means anything every year. W/o it, nothing else may be accomplished.
Beat UGA, that's our season.
Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
Not really trying to get into an argument about the English language, but mutually exclusive means unable to both be true at the same time.
you tried hard son
I'll give you that much
My name Isn't Junior.
Of course the FSU game means something to the team and the fans.. What I'm saying is it means NOTHING from a goals stand point.. They're not in our conference, they're a week before what will be our biggest game and main goal, which is to win the SEC, so they basically don't mean anything to our standings as far as achieving our main goals.
Even if we lost to FSU but beat Bama, the chances of us being in the natl title game are pretty high. Hell, Bama made it in last year without even playing for the SEC title. I know there are a bunch of unbeaten teams right now, but that probably won't last.
Obviously beating your instate rival is important in 'heart" to the team and the fans. Younger fans consider FSU our biggest rival, despite the fact that it always was and always will be Georgia. Just look at how huge this weeks game is. The winner will win the SEC east. Doesn't get any bigger until you actually get to Atlanta.
Getting way ahead of ourselves....but this is the correct statement. If this team is a championship team, the schedule, opponents, etc. don't really matter because they just win.
