3 All-SEC freshman on the best defense in the country. I'd say the future is looking bright.
Twelve Southeastern Conference football squads are represented on the 13th annual SEC Coaches’ All-Freshman Team, it was announced on Thursday., SEC NEWS
Future very bright
+1. GO GATORS. Future looking real good.
Also goes to show you that stars do matter.
We can claim all we want that stars don't matter but in the end 5 stars pan out much more frequently then 4 and 3 stars.
I was watching DNK's senior film the other day...some of the nastiest film I've seen. Check it out:
Denzel Nkemdiche #4, 2010 Sr. Highlights, www.sports2dvd.com Grayson Rams Class of 2011.
Morrison was a 3*
Average recruiting rankings correlated poorly with overall record in a recent study. Just grabbing any ole 5* won't get you there. There are good ones and overrated ones.
You need good evaluators, and we have them.

Future is bright for all 4
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
So was this year's eventual Heisman winner.
If our DBs weren't so good Poole would be on that list too
Watch out fellas, the gators are BACK!!!!
Just historically % wise 5 stars work out far more than 3 and 4 stars.
I just don't like seeing people state "stars don't matter"
This is an example of where stars were accurate, yes. You could also point out to this being the coaches accurately accessing their ability, stars aside and merely a coincidence. But I could point to a 100 others where stars did not, for instance, the CBS all Americans vs 247 rankings I have attached. 7/11 of those All Americans analyzed were 3 stars. Or perhaps any NFL draft, say, ever. Of course stars matter. But in the end it's more like lotto tickets. Yes, buying 5 tickets instead of 3 increases your odds of winning. But by how much? Stars are fun to collect and I love nabbing a 5* as much as any of you others, that is, after all, why we are here. In the end, I trust this staff.
A look at how the CBSSports.com All-Americans on offense were evaluated by the recruiting industry.

I am not disagreeing with anyones point.
Simple stating that
% of 5 stars that work out >>> % of 4 stars that work out >>>>>> % of 3 stars that work out.
Statistically, that is obvious. Of course the % is going to be higher, there are 3 stars than 4 and more 4 than 5. That said, I'd love to see the % of each that 'work out' for a particular staff over a period. I bet you there will be just as many 3 and 4 start Boom coached gators that work out as there are 5.
I was a big fan of his. It didn't make sense to me why he didn't get much attention. The kid reminds me of Joe Haden as a CB who would come up and not be afraid to hit someone and could actually tackle. Obviously not saying he was as good as Joe, but similar just as a hitter from the DB position.
Damn we are looking good.
Would be very interesting to see.
I hope Boom is around for a LONG time so we can see
And we've only just begun...
Almost everyone he hit in that video got de-cleated....
