"Game of Thrones"
And so starts the SEC east's Game of Thrones for the Gators. USCe comes into the Swamp having won the last two games over the Gators, but this isn’t your two year old sisters Gator team. This Gator team want’s to take your will.
Things I know:
This game means life for the Gator football team as they work towards the SEC east title. The winner becomes the team to beat in the SEC East. This one means something and when it comes to the Gators vs USCe, when it means something, the Gators have stepped up.
In 2006 this game meant something also. The Gators, with one loss on the year, needed a win in the Swamp to keep their new found title hopes alive. It didn't look good with a couple seconds left on the clock and South Carolina within FG distance, only down one. USCe lined it up snapped the ball and then, with the play of his career, Jarvis Moss stretched out and blocked the attempt sealing the Gator victory and keeping his team’s title hopes alive all at once.
Now, no one expects a Title run this year from the 2012 version of the Gators, but in an interesting twist from pre-season expectations, Gator Nation does have the SEC east title in its sights and after two years of National irrelevancy, our Gators are, for lack of a better term, 'Back'. They're 'Back' to playing from first to final whistle. They're 'back' to making teams pay for stepping up to the Gators in the Swamp. And most importantly they're 'Back' for revenge.
Last year the Gamecocks beat our Gators 17 -12 at home and if the Goon Kings quotes after LSU are any indication, our Gators aren't taking last year’s losses very well. ''I was looking in people's eyes and they were scared. That's what we wanted. We wanted to take somebody's will. We like to take people's will, not just win the game. Make them remember this night. We wanted to hurt them,'' Florida defensive end Dominique Easley said. ''We wanted them to feel the pain that we felt last year. We had hurt in our heart, so we wanted them to feel that same thing.''
Things I know? This Gator team is mad and they want revenge.
My prediction is that the Gators keep it going. We stop Lattimore and the USCe offense folds. Shaw gets put on the spot to carry the load and it’s too much for him. Our Gators keep it on the ground and pound USCe’s line for chunks of grass at a time.
I see a slow, boring game and a Gator victory, just like the new HBC likes it.

23-13, good guys
Just win, baby!
Are we assuming Harrison is healthy and ready to play?
I honestly believe the outcome will change depending on the health of the three guys on the OL. I think we could manage without Nixon or without Wilson, but not without Harrison.
Pick a score
Its up to you to make your own assumption
Gators 24 Gamecocks 17.
this pains me to say
SOS has always come back and kicked azz after a loss
And that's a first down!
Driskell over 100 yds rushing, 150 yds passing, 2 TDs (1 rushing)
SC 17-6. Only way around it is to find a passing game in the first quarter. The SC defense will be ready for UF running game. Need some bootlegs to Jordan Reed and some quick 3 step drops. Not sure if it will happen but I feel like Pease held back against Vanderbilt for a reason.

28-21 gators win
USCe should score a little more than LSU did, they are more balanced and have a mobile QB, but i also dont think their D is as good as LSU's overall they just have a better pass rush.
USCe - 16 (3 fgs, 1 td)
Gators - 24 (3 tds, 1 fg)
We score 24 if we have really been underselling our passing game, which i do believe to an extent we have been. We just have to protect Driskel both in scheme (short passes, screens, roll outs, and pray we take a PA shot or 3) and those big uglies need to step up their pass protection. And Driskel needs to make faster reads and get the ball out or tuck it and run.

23 - 20 Gators!
At home? 24-17 Gators.

No WAY we lose at the Swamp. If you thought it was live for the LSU game, just wait until Saturday. It's great to be a Florida Gator!
Gators 20, Cocks 13

ahhhhhhhh! so close.
i don't know usc=e field goal kicker that well.
is he decent or fair or what ?
The Spur and Lattimore will be tough, but lest we forget USCe is 1-13 all time at the swamp.
and Driskel>Shaw regardless of what the talking heads say. What are Shaw's stats on the road in the SEC?..not all that I'll tell ya.

Big day out of Lattiscore.....
Sturgis hits the game winning FG as time expires from 53 yds out
UF 27 usc 13
UF plays like it did the 2nd half against TAMU, they contain Shaw in the pocket and don't allow him to scramble. UF contains Lattimore and don't allow him to break a big run.
I hope SC wins of course. I think it will be a very tight game. My guess is 20-17 SC. If the score is 20-17 UF all I have to say is you better not slip up against UGA. I can’t stand the thought of a team that we absolutely dominated making it to the SECC game.
