...per the Miami Herald's Matt Watts, through associate AD Steve McClain. I'll admit, I'm surprised they haven't made a little more progress than that since the last update.

Gator fans don't travel well if the game isn't played in the state of Florida.
We traveled pretty well to Phoenix in '06.
I probably would have gone to this game if we were playing Oklahoma instead.
TG, this is OT but do you know if any of the New Orleans or LA kids in the 2014 class have come to watch UF practice. I know some kids in Miami have seen FSU practice, kids in Tampa have watched Michigan practice, etc.....
scrape the sides up...
I really don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me.
There will be many more thousands of Florida Fans who buy tickets on stubhub or some other online seller for less. There will also be many more thousands walking-up to buy them off the street for very little. I bet you'll be able to buy tickets the day of game for $25 or $30.
UF...ASSOC OF AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES MEMBER...3-TIME FOOTBALL NATL CHAMPION..2-TIME BASKETBALL NATL CHAMPION..33 ATHLETIC NATL CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Yup. Really it's the UAA that gets hosed by the bowl system by being forced to buy such a large allotment at such a high price. The fans have wised up, for the most part.
This that's how much they are on stub hub right now
Garret Brumfield was there today.
Exactly, the same tickets on StubHub are selling for a fraction of what they cost through the UAA; so if anyone is trying to gauge UF fan attendance using only those numbers, they're going to be way off.
Yeah me too, kid is a beast.
Nice, that has to be awesome to see a team practice in the Super Dome.
