is going to be one of our toughest earliest games in a while
Their first SEC game, going to College Station, new very successful coach for A & M is gong to make it a tough one for Boom and the boys.
What do you think?
College Station is a tough place for anyone to win. This is early on and Florida will be breaking in a new offense with new quarterbacks in a place that is loud and difficult, so it's going to be a challenge on that end. Defensively, Kevin Sumlin will try to run 100 plays a game which means if the Gators aren't in great shape they'll be dragging in the fourth quarter.
This is a winnable game for the Gators but they have to go in there prepared for a 60 minute war. The Aggies are going to want to send a message to the rest of the SEC right out of the blocks.

FYI: The Aggies have lost 12 home games in the last five seasons.
They're going to come out ready to play. If we can match their intensity level, we should be able to win. They're going to be pumped given their first game in the SEC and everything. However, they're breaking in a new offense, new QB's, and a new defense. Our 2 young QB's have had experience playing in louder environments IMO. Driskel played in the AU game last year at AU, and Brissett started the LSU game @ TS. I don't think the crowd will give them problems, but that's JMO.

Howdy Gators. This will be a great game. For those who have never been to Kyle....expect a very loud emotional game.
We have alot to prove, especially on defense; offense will probably still have some kinks to work out with QB but should be fast paced compared to other offenses. Our O'Line is stout and backs have speed to spare!
This game scares the bejeebers out of me because we will be taking a pretty untested offense in there with young QB's who are probably still hearing footsteps from last year. Who knows the depths of the psychological damage they incurred. But at least I see neither of them in the fetal position we became all too accustomed to.
Still, I did see some signs of maturity out of Brissett at times last year, and Driskel has such upside.
In the end, I think A&M's untested defense gives way to some extent, the UF defense provides enough stops, and UFs special teams secure the close win.

This is a gutcheck game for the second week because the Aggies are going to try to run 100 or more plays and wear down the defense.
Curious what you guys think the score will be?
I'll take the AGGIES 32-20
This is one of those games Muschamp's Gators are going to have to win in order to get things rolling towards winning championships again. Look at it alot like Spurrier going to Bama in 1990. That win went a long way in earning respect and building confidence. Now Texas A&M is no Alabama..but in their first SEC game (and the Gators on the road)...there will be a lot of eyes on that game. Florida will be in a dogfight, but they have more than enough talent to go out there and win the game. Like Franz said, they will have to be ready for war. Win those first two SEC Road games and confidence will build and heads will turn...lose one or both of them and it could be another long season. This year is about winning back our respect...next year it is championships.
I just don't see either team scoring that much that early in the season, A&M breaks in a completely new system and new qb, and the strength of Florida will be the defense. Florida's offense should be much improved but again 2wks into the year. would think 24-21 would be the absolute ceiling for this game
So you got the Aggies 24-21...got it!
close game indeed.
