CBSSports.com has Florida No. 6 in its preseason 2013-14 basketball ranking.
A team from the Bluegrass State will enter 2013-14 with a target on its back. Only it's not the one you think.

That looks about right. If Michigan loses Burke (which they almost certainly will) then I think you have to have us ahead of them as well.
I'm sorry but it is mind blowing to me that UK is ranked #1. Since the one and done rule has been around there has been a serious problem with overrating freshmen especially the ones who choose UK. I would definetly put them top 5 but im not ranking any team coming off a 21-12 campaign and 1st rd NIT loss to Robert Morris number 1 in preseason polls I don't care who they get.
So, I wonder who last seasons way-to-early preseason top 25 from CBS had ranked #1?
At that point they also said they expected UK to get Noel, Bennett, and Muhammed lol and a later preaseason poll from CBS had them at #3 with 5 first place votes. Either way CBS writers are a bunch of blue blood suckers

Yeah, I can live with that. I think parity takes a little step back this year, where as there will be 4-5 teams in which you are probably gonna get the Nat. Champs from.
I'd rank UNC ahead of Duke, as well.
Thomas : I like the new picture, much better.
UNC has more question marks than Duke with who's returning. I give Duke the slight edge regardless
I like the front court next year but still that lingering question about who will be the "go to player." Murphy and Boynton definitely dropped the ball (no pun intended) this year whether it be taking over a game or getting the rock in the final minute. Maybe Frazier will evolve to that kid in crunch time but who can take over a game? Regardless, next year should be a good one with Final Four type talent.
Parity took a step back this year. The Ken Pomeroy top teams, 1-3 or 1-4 seeds were better than historically and the 5-8ish or 4 to 8ish were not quite as good historically.
