Isaac Hamilton out of California. Kind of shocked. Thought we were pretty set at shooting guard for the next couple yrs. Any thoughts on this kid Franz or Bullis?
There will be a shooter in this class but it will have to be a long, athletic type in the 6-4 to 6-8 type who can play a couple of positions and press. Donovan looks at shooters the way Muschamp looks at QBs -- get one in every class.

You are always going to recruit and offer kids you really like, no matter your roster situation because you never know what can happen on your roster with injuries, transfers, kids going pro early, etc...
Kid seems to be pretty talented. I just want to make sure we get the bigs we need in this class before we take more SG.
Kid is 1 and done talent for sure ...guess no harm to throw hat in ring
Mildly surprising since late to game for a west coast kid + big bro was a headache for Texas no question
I'd rather have Reggie Cameron... That's just me. I guess I won't get to picky though!
As of today UF has two SG, Frazier and Graham, who would be on the 2013-14 and 2014-15 rosters. Unless one or both redshirt Frazier and Graham they will be rising JRs in 2014-15. So it is hardly surprising that UF would be offering a 2014 SG.
Hamilton is in the '13 class
Isaac is a 2013 SG. Top 15 talent as of now. I know who we have on our team but u can argue we took three SG in the 2012 class if you include Walker. Which he will prob play the three eventualy. If he is here in a few years. Obviously Hamilton is a take reguardless. I just said i want to make sure we get our bigs in the class. Hopefully Chris Walker and a Center.
I know Bullis keeps calling D.Walker an SG. I highly suspect the coaches do not consider him a SG or they would not have signed him.
BTW, I think it is important from time to time to write down the roster as it is now going into season you are discussing. With Hill in the fold, I view SG as the 2nd most important need after 4s. I would probably be happier with two bigs and no SG in the 2013 class, but it is not like UF has no need at SG. The ideal class as far as I am concerned now would be a PG in Hill, 2 Bigs, 4/5s and a SG.
