Mug Shot for Dillan Lawson booked into the Okaloosa county jail
Not because he was arrested, but because he's too skinny. Arrest report lists him at 6' 4" and 13lbs.
Plus it says he only weighs 13 pounds. Don't even think Dillman can help that
"You're not a good guy, you go somewhere else. We'll play you. We'll beat you."
Apparently Champ said he was the best LB scouted on film
this happened a long time ago IIRC Thomas or someone else had a thread on it
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
Soon he'll be the best LB scouted on a prison cot.
So are you trying to bash the kid or your just being an idiot?...this happened long time ago and he did nothing to UF so I dont get why this thread is posted to make fun of him. If I can remember it was UF who dropped Dillan not the other way around. Let the kid deal with his legal issues on his own, no need to pour salt on the wound.
Some people must not know what its like to be in jail or prison...it's really not a laughing matter JMO
No it's not, but coming from an "Ex-con" nobody should feel sorry for people doing dumb things. You do the crime, you do the time. I might be a little more hardened than most though, as it has been 14+ years since I was in prison. I never make excuses though, I f'd up and people should have laughed at me. JMO.
Winningest Program in College Football since 1990!
Sad story. One can hope Lawson turns it around and can make the most of further opportunities. Character is built through how you react when things are bad and in maintaining a path to success. Best of luck to Lawson, he is still very young and his story has barely begun to be written.
I agree that the laws are simple, you break them you deserve the punishment. There is no room for excuses, but also for judgement. Doing the right thing is more often the harder road especially once you've already step off the straight and narrow. Some of the best people I have encountered have come from troubled beginnings. The kid seems to be in desperate need of guidance, its on him to man up, but I don't see any good coming from rubbing this in his or the public's face in a negative connotation.
Looks like you've turned your life around. Good going.
Lighten up, Francis
Thats great to hear you have changed your life bro.+1
Nobody was asking for anybody to feel sorry for anyone, all I'm saying is that it's not fun and games. I asked a question was this to bash the kid or just Slappy being a idiot about it. Point blank period, you f'up but alot of other people didnt and they still did the time, so spare me the tough talk. Amen to us both for turning it around but my point is simple it aint a laughing matter when your in trouble with the law. Im not saying he isn't guilty, I'm just saying does the kid really deserve to be antagonized by a crowd he did nothing to???
Im not going to be apart of it...Do better kid, Go Gators!!!
your a madman
you remember the time with the cow?
I don't disagree, and maybe I'm jaded. It took a lot for me to shape up, but coddling was not one of those things. Either way, I was just giving my opinion. I went to prison at 17 years old, after being tried as an adult for robbery. I have never felt so sad, empty, or alone in my life. That said, I wouldn't trade it for the world because nothing else would have given me the TIME necessary to take a look in the mirror and change my ways. Prison is no rehab center, and most people just talk about how to commit "better crimes", but if you CHOOSE, it can be life changing. That's all.
We are seeing eye to eye. I don't think you're jaded, you just know how difficult it was to get where you are now and also realize how stupid you were at the time. It took a lot of character to realize you were wrong and commit yourself to change despite being amongst a population that influences otherwise. I commend you for that way more than I could ever fault you for making a mistake. That's all I'm saying in Lawson's case, he f'd up and now it's time for him to man up. Best case is that Lawson shows some of the same character development you did. Ill reserve judgement until he has that opportunity.
Slappy isn't being an idiot he's tellin the truth, dude strangled a pregnant woman...Have fun in prison.
Whoa, I didn't realize he did that. Later bud, zero sympathy.
I didn't realize that's what he did either. No sympathy for violence against women.
Says every mature adult on this board remember your talking about a kid...not an adult!!! Like I said before, not saying this kid isn't guilty just saying whats the use of bashing him over something we know nothing about. Dealing with a pregnant woman isn't easy on the mind of a teenager because it damn sure aint easy on the mind of an adult.
I have nothing more to say about it fellas.
Dude, I'm a teen and I would never touch another lady like that. Only people with serious issues do that, no matter the age.
