Me too. But I feel we get 1 of the 4.
since the 2014 class is terrible, we need one of these bigs that can stay a few years otherwise we might be hurting if harris and walker only stay one year!!
i know its a long time from now but it still is worth thinking about
only 1 FLAJeff?? do you feel we will get 2 of these guys at all??
Why does everyone think Harris will only stay one year?
no clue...DFS may only be here a year if he breaks out as expected in 13-14 season, but he is mainly a SF in our system so no effect/bearing on big man recruiting
Just hear it alot, he is not leaving after one year. Probably not till he graduates. He is good, and good for our system... But not great. I figure at best he might make a late first rounder. That's after a couple seasons at UF.
DFS will break out next year. He has so much talent around him that teams will not be able to key in on him. Harris is going to need a couple years, I agree. DFS has a real good chance of being a lottery pick after next season...
I've heard more people say that he's a 'Cuse/Florida lean than a Kentucky lean.
Jay Jay is plugged in ....guy has a tight relationship with sUK and also prime access to top recruits (doing blog with randle and sits in on all in hone visits )
Kentucky can have him if it's like that
One has to wonder if Johnson to 2013 is at UK's suggestion since some of their hoped for class has been slipping away from them.
Here's an article that says Florida has the lead and best chance to get Johnson.
It also says that Johnson can run the floor in an up-tempo system.
I would certainly take him, as long as he can get into better shape and run rim to rim to catch Kasey's lobs...I would guess he has worked himself into better shape as Montverde will run a lot with Kasey at PG and Boyle as coach....good find 33...he will not take visits and sign until spring, so long way to go....if Noel and WCS declare for NBA after this season, UK will be very attractive for PT at the 5 spot
if he can, then I am all for him...as I posted above, I would hope he is in shape to play with Kasey at Montverde
I think Johnson will really evaluate who is leaving and potential PT as a FR and make a business decision....for EX, as mentioned before if WCS and Noel declare, then UK becomes more attractive...PY leaves as expected then we have PT at the 5 from day 1, if Coleman bolts Cuse after 1 season (I don't see it as he is very heavy, albeit skilled) then Cuse may have upperhand...I cannot see him at Cuse if Dejuan Coleman is still there...too similar players IMO

the good thing is that him and randle will wait until the spring!! which helps florida IMO. we can wait and continue to recruit both players to UF. i imagine we would get one of these guys!
PArker and Embid seem like long shots these days!!
Here's another thing to consider about how much of a chance we have for D.J., the writer of that article listed previously is a graduate of Syracuse. You would think that he would be giving the edge to his old school instead of Florida. Maybe nothing but then again, maybe something.
Thanks 33 - Great read, certainly sounds good for UF at this point.............hmmm sure is an interesting devlopment and given the tone of recent threads about Embiid.
Don't want to get to far ahead of myself here but ..... gee ... Walker, Randle Johnson
that would be a pretty strong incoming frontcourt wouldn't it.........
Yes it would, it would indeed.

Just one school saw Dakari Johnson a day after he reclassified to the 2013 class. Florida.
Good to hear. I sure hope Dakari Johnson becomes a Gator!!
our staff is on it, now obviously we have a geographic advantage, but still our boys are putting in work
Kasey will be the X factor on landing Dakari for Florida.
Gotta like that.
