If he keeps it up he will eventually win. Look at Adam Scott. Tasted what it was like to be so close in a couple of majors and he finally wins one. Billy will get a win soon. Only a matter of time.
"Who was your source? Church mice in here....." - Coach Muschamp
He hasn't missed a cut in how long now? And he seems to be in it every week. He needs a win or 2 to get in the top 60 in the world
23 straight cuts made now.
Has finished Top 5 four times during that span and Top 10 six times during that stretch. He has also finished Top 10 in his last three outings, including a second-place finish at the Shell Houston Open and third-place finish at the Valero Texas Open, both of which would have earned him a Masters invite.
Finished ninth last week at RBC Heritage, but he was much closer than that and finished really poorly on his last two holes. Was in contention through 16 on his Sunday round.
His last three outings have earned him $993,666.66, with potentially much more to come this weekend.
Projected 5th in the fed ex cup even with a 2nd place finish
Horschel just moved into the lead, tied with D.A. Points and Lucas Glover at -14 through his first seven holes. Still looking for his elusive first PGA Tour win.
Jimmy Walker just eagled 7 to move into sole lead at -15.
And Horschel birdies 8 to get right back into the lead with Walker at -15. Should be a fun finish after baseball today.
Horschel keeps it rolling with another birdie on 9 to get to -16 with the sole lead.
And Jimmy Walker birdies 8 to tie him at -16 and the lead.
And Horschel birdies 10 to move to sole lead at -17. That's four birdies in a row. Wish I was watching this, by the leaderboard, he looks to be on a tear right now.
Horschel birdies 10, walkers gonna make at least bogie on 9
Walker makes double
He's hitting it great, got a 2 shot lead now
Horshel has 4' for birdie on 11
And he makes it 5 straight birdies still 2 shot lead
6 straight now and still 2 shot lead
That's the longest birdie streak on the PGA Tour this year.
As well as Horschel is playing, D.A. Points is right there with him just one stroke back.
And burns the edge on 7th and his lead shrinks to 1. DA Points is playing great too
Horschel now tied for the lead with D.A. Points after a misplay. Both at -18 through 15.
Lucky points missed his putt
Back to a 1 shot leading heading into 18, lotta water and chance fir an eagle, great finishing hole
Horschel off into left rough, Points cleanly into the fairway off the tee.
Yea but it's sitting fine
Wow, horn sounded for weather delay. Imagine the pressure now sitting there thinking about it.
