Probably a nice catchy title to draw viewers but really? Based on a line that is generated to make money by vegas? Come on man.
I would submit this as a bigger upset than last nights debacle:
Seriously get a grip. No need to find the nearest bridge, they get to play next year and prove that this is not what they are about.
Ohhh let's doooo it
ooorrrannngeeee and bluuueee it
I would say that UA getting destroyed by a Utah team in 2008 was a pretty big upset. There have been a few but Utah, Louisville, and Boise State are def teams that are at the top for biggest upset wins.
It seems to me that whenever UF starts believing in their own hype they just don't play well. UF were underdogs in all of their Big Games and came out with a victory. However when they were favored they played poorly and lost.
I could be wrong but UF were underdogs against TAM, Tenn, LSU, USC, and FSU and came out on Top. They were favored against UGA, and UL and lost. Hopefully we can chalk that up to being young and lack of players stepping up to be leaders.
Next year can't get here soon enough. Go Gators..
Exactly, the games they were favored in the looked like they went through the motions and were careless with ball. Not enough urgency at all. Something the staff needs to work on because they will be favored again.
I don't think anyone is jumping off a bridge, but it is worth mentioning. In all my years of watching the BCS, I don't remember a bigger upset.
Boise State was undefeated and beat a two loss Oklahoma team (That overachieved just to win the Big 12) in miracle fashion. Utah was an undefeated team and finished #2 or #3 in the country. Louisville had a blowout loss to Syracuse, plus a loss to UConn under it's belt and didn't even win the Big East outright.
UF/OSU is not an upset IMO. It was the NC Game. All that proves is that OSU was overrated. Was anyone really that stunned when we won?

Saying that this is the biggest upset in bcs history is jumping off a bridge. If you want to fall hook line and sinker with the national pundits go ahead. What games did we absolutely dominate to become such favorites that this is a monumental upset? We didnt even win our division. We knew what offense we had.
To sit there and say you thought 41-14 would be the outcome in 2007 and not be an upset is foolish.
