Where would be a good place to stay? When do people get into town (before or after New Year's Eve)?
"You're not a good guy, you go somewhere else. We'll play you. We'll beat you."
I have only stayed at the Marriott downtown, and it was really nice.
Is it convenient to the stadium, etc?
Staying at the Hyatt Regency; right next to stadium and walking distance to bourbon st. Good spot.
Wherever you can get a room. Good luck
I've been searching on line, amazed that it is not more money (under $200 a night) and seems to be plenty of rooms for now.
Just a little advice: Stay away from any party thrown by Clay Bertrand

Will you be in New Orleans, Keith?
Under Armour Game in St. Pete
New Orleans is built to host things like this, there will not be a shortage of rooms.
I'm at the Hyatt Regency also, next door to the Superdome.
But my favorite NO hotel for the history is the Hotel Monteleone, walking distance to the dome, right near Bourbon, next door to Dickey Brenens.
Very nice hotel. Agreed.
Won't go wrong with the InterContinental either.
Royal Sonesta. Dickey B's is good, but gotta try NOLA or K-Paws - my two favs!
As a New Orlenian (rather, resident of New Orleans), I'll be glad to answer any questions ya'll might have. Asking a question about hotels in NOLA, is, well, a difficult one to answer. There is no "best" hotel for the Sugar Bowl. It all depends on what you want. The best hotel in the city is the Roosevelt, but I doubt you want to shell out that kind of cash. I really suggest looking on-line at Trip Advisor and such sites, and I will give you a local's opinion of the hotels if you bring them up. Hope that helps. As well as restaurants, which I know a hell of a lot more about.
Advisory to all--there is heavy construction going on in the FQ in preperation for the Super Bowl, so don't even think about driving down there. You shouldn't anyway, but now you really don't want to.
I've stayed there for a wedding or two, very nice.

TripAdvisor has a huge number of reviews for Hotels and travel, A great resource I use all the time.

Omni Royal Crescent Hotel is best hotel you can get here. They offer excellent services and we had been there in 2012 mid and had a very pleasant experience there. So you should consider this as a staying. Also I think you should look out at Trip advisor , they had very good reviews about many hotels in New Orleans
