But they have to recruit outside Tennessee...
And they have the budget to do so. Previous coaches didn't have an issue recruiting. Even Dooley stole a few kids who should be in the orange and blue.

So do most schools. UT has a national brand and they also have a solid recruiting base in their area (just not in TN). NC, SC, GA, VA, KY, they've always done well in all of those states. Comp is tougher now, but UT can pull plenty of those kids to be good again. They've also done well in TX and CA historically.

This. This UM squad shouldn't have won more than 4 games
How many comebacks in the 4th did his team have this year? Even FSU was nervous going into the 2nd half. Those boys came to play when I thought they would get stomped. Believe me, I spent all year betting my friends against the Canes and have to deal with their delusional fan base down here.
Not saying he is the best hire, but absolutely an upgrade from Dooley

If Golden leaves, that's gotta help FSU more than UF recruiting-wise.
Forget about Bostwick, he couldn't get into UF with a crow bar.Juco all the way.
If Golden bolts now, who in their right mind would take the Miami job?
