Fla falls 5 spots to #7
Who else fell, didn't four of top five lose last week ?
Indiana stays #1, Duke #2, Miami #3, MI loses & drops 1 spot to #4 (BS!), #5 Gonzaga, #6 Syracuse, then the Gators. Basically Indy & Mich suffer a loss but don't get bounced down in the rankings!!

We dropped to much. I think Cuse is about to make a serious run with Southerland back.
Only need a two seed, take care of business. Beat kentucky and mizz and rankings will be fine
Ohhh let's doooo it
ooorrrannngeeee and bluuueee it
hey the top 3 or even 5 have been dropping like flies... im fine with were we are right now haha
I don't understand you guys. You approach college basketball with a college football mentality when it comes to rankings, seedings, how good X team is, etc. It just doesn't work like that here.
Case-in-point: Gators were 15th in the AP poll on Selection Sunday two years ago. That means a 4 seed by this logic, correct? Wrong. It was a 2 seed. And why? Because we beat a bunch of good teams that year, won the SEC regular season, and had a good road/neutral site record. It didn't matter that we lost to Kentucky twice in the final 3 weeks of the year. Over the course of the year, we just had a better resume than most teams.
Analyze the resume, the RPI, and other metrics. Watch the games. That will give you a sense of which teams are better. Basketball has way more games to work with so things like SOS and computer rankings tend to be more accurate, but must be complimented with watching numerous and numerous games.
