As I expected, Texas A&M will keep the suspensions for their two defenders attached to the LA Tech game, as originally planned. The two players, LB Steven Jenkins and DB Howard Matthews are expected to play against Florida.

LOL that's not a 1 game suspension. UF should suspend Pop against Bowling Green and then again vs Jacksonville State.

How do you sell that with a straight face?

Welcome to the SEC, A&M
We're still gonna pound that ass and they're gonna like it.
Zook did the same exact thing in 2004. Just saying.
Yup....aggies have their first lesson on how to play with the big boys...bend the rules
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
And Zook got fired in 3 years. Thanks for the studs on the 06 National Championship though Ron!
that's about right
u knew they would play
Good, I want no excuses. I want to beat a complete a&m team.

scrape the sides up...
Just as idiotic then. Way to send a strong message on discipline --you'll miss the first game, unless it's not a cupcake...
No surprise really, Sumlin dont have the balls. He know's they are in trouble vs UF, he needs every available player he can get
Anyone criticizing this move is a hypocrite. If we started with 2 cupcakes like we usually do and that's when our coaches originally suspended the players, we would most likely do the same thing if 1 of the 2 got re-scheduled. It's just the way it is and UF has been one of the teams that always tends to suspend players for a cupcake. It's usually at the beginning of the season for us and I have seen it for the cupcake before FSU for what was rumored as a failed drug test a couple weeks earlier. You can't criticize others when we do it too and as a fan, I'm glad we do it. It's smart. Amazed at the short memories by people in this thread, lol.

Meyer did it too. Didn't get fired. Won 2 NC's. Weak point.
And Meyer gets laughed at for his lack of control and how many players got in trouble.
I'm sure he cares about all those people on message boards laughing at him all the way to the bank with his $5 million a year. I'm sure it really bothers him when he sees those 2 NC rings and having all those great memories. Poor guy. Like I said, anyone criticizing it is a hypocrite because we did it too.
This really isn't a big deal. Welcome to major college football.
It's one thing to suspend a kid for the cupcake game it's completely different to change a suspension when the game gets postponed. I don't really care what they do but I would like our program to be more disciplined than we have been recently.
Ps I'm inside 100 post now pal
We'll still wax dat azz.
Ah, The Channing Crowder Rule.
Which player had their suspension moved and for which game?
The timing of Jarvis Moss' suspension was certainly questionable, if I recall correctly. Don't remember exact details' on Marcus Thomas' dismissal, but I believe there were similar questionable circumstances there.
Criticizing it doesn't make anyone a hypocrite; criticizing it with other teams, but not your own makes someone a hypocrite. Personally, I think it's BS no matter who does it, including us.
If we actually announced a suspension, and then retracted it and made it for another game because of a schedule problem beyond our control, like TAMU is doing, that was irresponsible.
