in say 10-15-20 years, do you see him being our next SOS? Former UF heisman winning QB returns to his alma mater as a coach and leads them to the promised land?
LORD FORGIVE ME FOR THE GOON DADDY IS COMING OUT TONIGHT
I can't really put my finger on why but I can't see him being a great coach.
I'm not sure about him drawing up X's and O's like SOS was but I do know he would be a helluva recruiter. He is one of a kind when it comes to getting people to believe in him and want to fight for him.
I mean look at those teams he was on at UF. How many thugs and goons and druggies....and yet they all adored him and would have ran through a wall for him
Seems after Pro Football see him as a Minister of his own church. Continues the work in the Phillipines.
this is obviously the more logical path for him but it's just a topic we have been debating since it's the offseason and there isn't much football to talk about
Urban said on many occasions he would make a great coach but I do not think he will ever get into coaching. He has a huge platform to share his beliefs and I do not think he will ever want to give that up which he would have to give up if he were to become a head coach working 120 hour weeks.
Yeah very true.
He would be a great motivator and a great recruiter. I don't know how he would be in other areas.
Like Danny Wuerffel, Tim answers to a higher calling.

"Who was your source? Church mice in here....." - Coach Muschamp
Yeah I don't see it.
Never say never with this guy...however, I say Never. That said, the person who would not surprise me would be Trey Burton; he is a great student of the game and was a great recruiter for us out of HS.
bottom line .
very simple ! he will follow the way of the lord .
and that is a fact .
it has been that way forever and will not change .
tims platform is larger with the lord than as a football coach .
once the player platform is over he will be large enough that he will follow what he has been telling you for years.
That football is NOT the most important thing in his life.
thank you !
good by !
Agreed. Something about the way he carries himself. Think we'll be seeing him on the sideline down the road.
No chance. He's got bigger and broader aspirations
Don't be surprised if John Brantley comes back and clears his name in the Swamp after a journey mens tenure the NFL.....just seems to fit the build but the way we treated this guy I maybe in a lil over my head!!!
I say he will be a missionary
Maybe to the Phillipines
But he will def be doing Gods work
Not to say he wouldn't be a sick weight coach/recruiter
