  • Not if Kent State cracks the top 16, right TG? Then it's vs us in the Sugar.

Correct. If Kent State wins Friday and UCLA loses to Stanford on Saturday, it should be Florida vs. Louisville in the Sugar Bowl.

LOL, everybody else acted like it was a good thing. I don't want them scrubs either. I want to play Oregon or at least OU, if KS and Lou. are our other choices. We need to go to the NC next year so we can get a big game. Louisville wouldn't even be a good regular season opponent, and I think CS has done amazing job, but it's still Louisville.

I haven't bitched about not playing in the BCSCG, because obviously we blew our shot at that. But if this happens, I'm going to lose my sh*t! Our team deserves better!

  • He would be a helluva hire for AU or UT.. Not sure why neither seem overly interested. He'd improve the talent level ten fold at UT. He's seemed to make good decisions when hiring a staff. He'd put together a nice staff at a big time school to sell. I like the offense he's running.

I know Louisville is a Big East softy, but I like their offense alot. He's playing a boatload of true freshmen on defense too. If he stays at Louisville when they join the ACC, he will compete for titles in that league imo.

Also, I'd be more worried about playing Louisville in the Sugar than I would an OU or KSU.. We play down to teams we think are inferior. OU/KSU would get the buzz going and our boys would come out fired up. Not sure that would be the case against a Big East school. Really hope that doesn't happen. Would hate to see a Bama/Utah type game. Would be a good way to diminish the perception of what we've accomplished this year.

  • Kind of a disappointing match up if we play them. Are they even going to be ranked? We will skull fu*k that team. Teddy might literally be killed by our defense.

Teddy would be the best passer we have faced though.

I heard a NFL guy on the radio today raving about him being a better prospect than Geno and Barkley, regarded as the top 2 NFL QB prospects this year, and lauding his ability to make all of the throws from different launch points. He even went as far as to say that Bridgewater would have OU in the NC race had he been playing there.

So, I watched the game tonight (most of it anyway) with interest and was shocked that he was really a lot better than a lot of people give him credit for.

  • Don't know why anybody would be excited over playing Louisville. It would be cool to play against Charlie Strong but we all know damn well it'd be an embarrassing showing ticket wise.

  • I don't care how it happens but I want UF vs. Oregon. The NT is Bama/UGA vs. ND with the loser getting kicked out of the BCS games (the 2 per conference rule should not apply to the SEC) Let Arizona have Oklahoma and match them up with Clemson for a good ole 62-47 shootout. Rose bowl can go with Nebraska vs. Stanford and Orange can have Louisville vs. FSU.
BCS NC - Alabama/UGA vs. ND
    Sugar - Oregon vs. Florida
    Orange - Louisville vs. FSU
    Fiesta - Oklahoma vs. Clemson
    Rose - Stanford vs. Nebraska

I know the Fiesat would never give up Oregon and the Sugar won't give up UF but we can always dream

  • Congrats, Charlie! Now get out of Louisville!

    N. Illinois is going to clobber Kent State, btw.

Murray and Manziel are better than Bridgewater; maybe even Connor Shaw. Remember what kind of competition Teddy has been playing.

He also averages 0.6 yards a rush, so he's no threat to run it.

I'm not worried about him in the least.
