Bullis is every school dirty? Seems that way from what you say.

  • Never anything to back up those claims.

You've said on a number of occasions that UNLV and KU are dirty.

Was UNLV dirty when Lon Kruger was there?

Is Norm Roberts going to become tainted when he coaches at KU?

Two fairly upstanding guys from what I've read.

How about giving us a little more information instead of just saying "they're dirty".

  • Compare it to a speed limit. Speed limit is 70. Every team is usually going 75-80, the problem is when you get that idiot going 120.

  • Yes. That's why we don't get these kids. :insert sarcasm:

    Always is the reason.

Excellent analogy. Well done and probably very accurate to the truth. Kentucky and others also seem to have a radar detector or some sort of sophisticated super secret stealth mode.

Yes, and that idiot is usually from Kentucky... biggrin

  • Do you think a guy like Calipari is dumb enough to get caught? Like back in the day when the Fedex envelope with $1000 in it - on its way from a Kentucky asst to a prospect - (Chris Mills?) - simply popped open at the Fedex office???

Things today are much more sophisticated. You think Auburn simply counted up 250k cash and called up Scam Newtons daddy to tell him to come over and grab his son's signing bonus???

Please. Its 2012 for chrissakes. The way it works is simple. In hoops these kids play AAU ball. These AAU coaches funnel large amounts of CASH from agents and shoe companies to these kids. And somehow they just end up signing with certain schools or wearing certain shoes or signing with certain agents when they go to the NBA. Ask World Wide Wes how the miracle of Kentucky recruiting works. He's sitting right there behind the frikken bench. But don't expect Calipari to ever get caught. By the time the money gets to these kids it simply can't be traced. But don't tell me slick Johnny doesn't know.

In football there is no AAU so it goes through the runners to the seedy uncles or the greedy advisors or the tainted football coaches or even through churches. If you don't think it does then you are simply not paying attention. A "disgraced" agent was in the news recently detailing what he paid and to whom. Don't believe me? Check out f$u players driving escalades or cashing checks, or justin smiley's truck or frikken Nevin Shapiro. That was a Cane thing so you might not understand. Most of the money trails are pretty subtle these days. BTW who the hell would pay 3 large for Terelle Pryor's pants?????

  • Guys, Bullis is very connected. No, not all schools cheat but a lot of the big time schools do. A lot.

I'm sure we don't follow the rules perfectly, either. It just gets annoying when we miss on these high profile kids, it's always because another team is cheating. I'm sure UF breaks plenty of rules as well.

What FSU player have you seen driving an escalade?

  • The OP does bring up a good question. When we hired Roberts we were told about how honest he was and that he wasn't willing to bend the rules that AAU coaches expected. Is he going to bend the rules at KU? Is he going to play by the rules but look the other way when the other KU coaches bend them?

  • I guess mocking our insiders is the norm now. Props to Bullis for not responding.

And no Cartier Gator, Bullis has never said EVERYTIME we lose someone it is because of cheating and most that know Billy knows he doesn't. Your jealousy is quite obvious.

  • Lol. Nice job of taking what I said out of context. Like I said, we bend the rules as well. Cheating is cheating. Some are willing to do worse things than others, but we overstep some boundaries as well, I'm sure. On high profile kids, it gets annoying to hear over and over so and so cheated to get him. We lost out on the kid, it's that simple.

I give Luke and Franz constant positive feedback. Kick rocks if you don't like my opinion, pierce.
