To me he looked just like Driskel without Driskel's ability to break off long runs. Driskel has made those throws and has led us down the field with 2 minutes left a few different times. Brissett just didn't look like he was exponentially better at passing. He threw what should have been a pick, overthrew the deep route, and under threw Reed. I think he will have similar issues if he is starting against a real D. I like them both (in fact, I was in favor of JB after last year) and I want the best man to start. I honestly think that JD is our best shot with our OL and WR issues. We were playing ULL and Brissett barely had time to throw resulting in a few sacks and an almost interception. What will happen when we play a good defense? I'm not against giving him playing time in the next game especially with JD's injury, but he just didn't seem as great as some people think.
