  • I love how everyone gave up on pease....his oline sucks guys...no cord can do anything with an oline that can't block. He has tried everything...at some point its not his fault. Until we get significantly better on oline no cord is going to save us. Saban wanted this guy for a reason....and he has proven he can put players in places to succeed. It's a shame how darn quick you guys turns. We should be undefeated but the players decided vd georgia they couldn't hold onto a ball....don't know if any of you know a thing about football but a bad handoff and fumbling while jumping is not on the
    oc.

If we need anything its an oline coach....sorry but our oline misses assignments constantly and its not going to work....the sec always has the top pass rushers....we can't block simple stunts with five star lineman....that can't happen. TIM Davis is the one we need to step up....cause the play calling has shown it works when driskel gets more than two seconds before he gets run over by any blitzer not running a straight line. Losing pease destroys next season....plain and simple...learning a new system will destroy any off season progress we can make.

And before you quote rankings....remember not one team in the top twenty five have faced stronger defenses and our offense isn't ever going to be high....its built to be bama....we just dont have bama oline yet.

No need to explain yourself to the vocal minority who have no clue how football works (Bullis).

  • We do not need any coaching changes. Our coaches are great. Tim Davis is great. No one was complaing when we dominated LSU's front line full of NFL draft picks. We need more depth, and some playmakers on offense. PERIOD!

After teams got a bunch of film on us, the ones later on our schedule were able to figure out what we can't block and that we have a mediocre WR corps, and a beat up OL. Our QB play has regressed a bit and I think Driskel has lost some confidence behind that OL. Throw in a few fumbles and you get a loss and a struggle against a middling SEC team. I mean, it's not a mystery.

Maybe on Davis. Every other coach give a huge raise for the improvement we've seen(course no real wr coach so get). The problem isn't depth at oline....its cluelessness on blocking the pass. I mean we can't defend simple stunts. Our run blocking has been great but we can't pass because driskel gets beat up when he drops back like a klansman in crompton.

  • Tim Davis is a great coach. I believe Pease is too... Don't think he can/should be considered for any HC position right now based on what we have done on O so far, however given a year or two he'll probably be up there at the top of a lot of lists.

I want to believe in Davis but the oline is still just poor. I mean we allow far, far, far to many sacks and driskel gets no chance. Driskel looks nervous in the pocket....because he knows he has two seconds before he is decked. We have to solve the tackle issue soon....can't wait for Tyler Moore to get in here and get humpries a full offseason. Pray those two fix this issue cause in the sec you face to top de and olbs weekly.
