He reminds me of Serena Williams. I don't pigeonhole someone based on race, gender, or sport played. Maybe even a Rosa Parks, because you can't steal the ball (or bus seat in this analogy) from him.

I've seen him play a couple times. He got a great feel for the game. Super athletic, really strong stout lower body. He's got NBA range already. I think he's McDonalds All-American good.
I also saw Dwight Howard, Lou Williams, Mou Aboute(sp), Gerald Green, Spencer Hawes, Martell Webster, JR Smith, Wayne Ellington, Gerald Henderson play in HS. So I'm an expert

I was at Buchholz a year ahead of Vernon. I was even the PA announcer at the hoops games.
People don't generally know that he went out for football his senior year and was named team MVP. Great athlete, actually a pretty friendly guy, but just zero discipline.
