I'll respect Thompson for earning the offer, but doesn't that just sound like A for effort? I mean we are trying to build a team here...we need high quality talent along with the effort. We cant just give out scholarships because of how bad someone wants it...If theres a guy thats better than Thompson we should take him instead. Precisely the reason why i still dont understand why UF offered him so early...he could have been a signing day guy if we struck out on all other guys
