Homestead (Fla.) five-star wide receiver Ermon Lane was planning one final visit this summer before his attention turned to his pending commitment and the start of his high school football season. The final trip was set to be Florida’s Friday Night Lights, however, that will not be the case anymore.
“No more summer trips,” Lane texted 247Sports.
That makes Lane’s last visit a summer camp session at the University of Miami in early June. That trip was was preceded with a stop by the Hurricanes’ spring game in mid-April and a Florida spring practice at the end of March.
Lane has stated his desire to commit to a school this August. 247Sports’ Crystal Ball was trending towards the Gators with that news of Florida getting the final visit.
247Sports currently ranks Lane as the nation’s No. 21 player in the country and the No. 2 wide out. As a junior, Lane hauled in 30 passes for 801 yards and eight touchdowns.
