Reports surfaced Saturday evening that Tampa Bay Bucs coach Greg Schiano is interested in interviewing Florida's Dan Quinn for the Bucs' vacant defensive coordinator position.

Sources told Gator Bait Monday morning that Dan Quinn is more than just a person of interest but a full fledged candidate for the Tampa Bay Bucs defensive coordinator job.

Main issue with getting NFL guys: One year in college then leave for another NFL gig. With his resume and success I wonder why he headed to UF...imo it was because of the looming lockout so his boy gave him a handout. ..feel bad for these kids.

I know it's the NFL but Tampa has to be one of the top 3 worst gigs atp.The owners want to cut corners and the fans don't give a damn. Wish him the best but he'll be looking for a new job in 2 years. UF has problem but Tampa is a complete dumpster fire

Exactly. If Quinn were to take this job, he may be looking at a job like UF's again in 2 years.
